In Call Options
Once you have made or received a call, you have some options within the call.
These options are:-
There are types of transfer:-
Blind Transfer:-
At the bottom of the popup, there is a tick box labelled BLIND TRANSFER.
If ticked, you no longer play a part in the call transfer.
The new recipients phone will ring, and if unanswered it will follow whatever voicemail rules they have applied to their telephone/mobile.
Screened Transfer:-
All you need to do is Type in a number, either internal OR external, then click OK.
In Call Options:-
The ••• contains more options.
These are:-
• Keypad
This can be used to enter numbers, for example if you need to press a number on an auto attendant when calling somebody.
Click •••, click KEYPAD and press the number you need to press.
• Record
You can START a recording of your current call
(you would need a call recording license active for your user)
Click •••, click RECORD to start recording. Clicking it again will STOP the recording.
• Call Park
This is similar to HOLD, but ANY phone on the system who has access to the parked call can then pick up the call and take control of the call.
To park a call, click •••, click CALL PARK and you will be given a 3 digit ID, now another user will be able to click UNPARK and enter the 3 digit ID for the call and take over the conversation.
• Switch to Video Call
(this will require a stable internet connection, webcam and microphone)
This converts your CURRENT CALL into a video call, and you will be able to SEE each other!
• Hang Up
The last button, the RED phone symbol, is used to HANG UP (END) a call.
