To begin a call, simply tap the dial pad in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
You will be presented with a classic dial pad, just like you would be used to seeing on your mobile.
Dial the number you want to call from the pad.
If the number you are dialling matches that of a contact, their name will appear, and you can tap it.
You can also search for a contact by name, you may see several contacts for the same person.
Tap whichever you require, and once it is connected the timer will start.
You then have options to choose from while you are on the call, which are:-
• Mute,
• Put the call on hold,
• Put the caller on speaker,
• Transfer, a keypad if you need to enter a key during the call,
• Invite, to add another participant to a call.
To transfer a call, press transfer.
You will now be presented with a screen where you can search for a contact to transfer the call to.
If you wish to transfer the call without speaking to the recipient first,
• Click the Blind Transfer tick box.
• Choose a contact
• Click NEXT, which dials the chosen contact.
When the contact has answered the call, click DONE, or you can click CANCEL to return to the call.
Once the call has been transferred, you will get a message at the bottom of the screen saying that the transfer has been successful.
Click DONE to return to the Home Screen.
Extra options
On the right of the screen, there are more options. To access these, swipe your screen to the left.
You will now see:-
• Video
• Call park
• Record
• Hide options
From this screen you can:-
• Transfer the call to a video call
• Park the call
• Record the call
• Hide the options screen or
• Add a participant to the call.
