The reset procedure requires you to navigate the menu using the OK button and arrows, as follows:-
Resetting a Base Station From a connected Handset
- Press the OK button in the middle of the phone to bring up the Phone's menu.
- Using the directional buttons, navigate to Settings and press OK.
- Enter System Settings by pressing 8 on the dial-pad, or scrolling down (with directional buttons) and pressing OK.
- Navigate to Base Reset and press OK.
- Enter the PIN for your device (default is "0000") and press Done.
- The base will now factory reset and upon completion, will display "Success" (or similar) on the phone screen.
The phone's base station will reboot for the first time, which is the reset procedure.
After the base station reboots, the phone loads and It displays a series of messages, as follows:-
- Config Updating
- Provisioning Successful (with a green tick)
- The phone's base station will reboot for a second time.
After the second reboot, the phone should be back to normal.
If the message says 'Provisioning Failed' with a red cross, please let us know so we can advise the supplier and continue to investigate.
