For all intents and purposes, this is more like call ALLOWING as this is what you are actually doing with this menu.
You are PERMITTING calls to a specified number.
To set this up, see the below steps.
You will already have some basic call barring rules set up.
To modify the current settings, click a group and then click MODIFY.
If a category is ticked, calls are permitted to this number.
To BAR a user from calling '09 Premium Rate', you would UNTICK the box and click save, making sure the call barring profile set for this user.
Bear in mind that changing this will affect ALL users using this profile.
If you wish to administer calls for a single user, you should create a profile just for this user.
To do this, click ADD.
Name the profile whatever you want it to be called.
Select WHEN the profile is to be used - Unconditional is all the time, By time schedule uses the company time schedule.
Select whichever number types you wish to allow, and click save.
Now, on the USER > User Setup page, and select the profile you just made in the Call Barring dropdown menu.
To do this, select the user and click MODIFY.
Make the changes required and click SAVE.
